Solis offers two battery families that share the same software, app and ecosystem:
Both ranges use the same Solis lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) cells, the same Battery Management System, the same SolisCloud monitoring platform, and the same Solis hybrid inverters. They are designed to work as a fully integrated system.
Every Greenscape Energy retrofit Solis battery install pairs the IntelliHome battery with a Solis S6-EH1P10K-L hybrid inverter (10 kW continuous, single-phase). This is the bigger, current-generation hybrid inverter and it changes the practical performance of the system in two important ways:
The battery cells themselves are rated at 1C continuous discharge, but the AC output to your house is set by the inverter. With the 10kW hybrid, even the smallest IntelliHome (5 kWh) outputs through a 10kW inverter, which means more headroom for surge loads (kettle + oven + electric shower running together).
rather than essential-circuits-only. The 10kW continuous rating is enough to run most family homes including ovens, electric showers, washing machines and EV slow charging from a single battery in a power cut.

The price below includes the Solis 10kW hybrid inverter on all retrofit installs. Adding the battery only (where a working hybrid inverter already exists from a previous Solis install) reduces the price by around £800-£1,000.

Solis battery cells are A+ grade EVE LFP with verified 6,000+ cycle testing. That is 50-70% more useable life than the older 4,000-cycle generation.

Reads dynamic tariffs, weather forecasts, learns your usage patterns, manages export limits, handles negative prices intelligently. Works on Octopus Agile, Flux, Cosy and similar.

SG Ready heat pump integration
Solis hybrid inverters can talk to SG Ready heat pumps (Clivet, Vaillant, NIBE, etc) and tell them when to turn up with surplus solar.
Customers who want quality without paying the Tesla premium, customers who might scale capacity in 2-3 years, heat pump or EV households where flexibility matters, and FIT retrofit installs where AC-coupling is the right answer.

Solis batteries are IP66 rated for outdoor mounting. We install them indoors (garage, utility, internal cupboard) or outdoors (side wall, outbuilding). The IntelliHome 5 kWh can hang on the wall above a cabinet; the 10 and 16 kWh sit on the floor. FlexHome stacks sit on the floor up against a wall.

Solis warrants the battery cells to retain at least 70% of original capacity after 10 years of use within the supported operating modes. The inverter has a 10-year warranty (extendable to 15 or 20 years for an additional fee). Greenscape Energy covers the install workmanship for 10 years. All three warranties together give you fully covered end-to-end protection.
Solis AI is the cloud-based control system that turns a basic time-of-use battery into a properly intelligent one. It does six key things:
Dynamic tariff handling: reads Octopus Agile (or equivalent) half-hourly prices and picks the optimal charge/discharge schedule for the next 24 hours.
Weather forecasting: if tomorrow is sunny, do not overfill the battery overnight. If tomorrow is cloudy, top up while electricity is cheap.
Habit learning: notices when you wake up, when you cook, when you go to bed. Adjusts charging targets accordingly.
Peak shaving: stops the house drawing more than a set kW from the grid at any moment.
Grid limit handling: if your DNO has capped your export, charges the battery instead of curtailing the panels.
Negative price handling: if wholesale prices go negative (which happens occasionally on Agile), Solis AI dials down export to avoid being paid to send power.
Solis AI works on the S6 inverter series and on RHI-3P with an AI license (around £150 one-time fee, often included in our installs).
