Shiv's motivation was clear from the outset: sustainability, not ROI. Having discovered that Greenscape was the installation partner behind most of Solar Together Suffolk, she had all the confidence she needed. Research into the Tesla Powerwall added another layer of appeal — the property occasionally suffered from local power outages, and battery resilience was a priority.
Four solar arrays totalling 38 panels were installed across the property using Enphase micro inverters, paired with a Tesla Powerwall housed neatly in the detached garage. Aesthetics were paramount throughout — all panels were positioned to the rear of the home, and only the Tesla Gateway is visible from the front. A Hypervolt EV charger and extensive trenching to link the garage to the home's electrics completed the picture. Andy Millar was singled out for his excellent work on the Powerwall installation.
The home now runs largely on cheap Octopus night-rate energy charged into the Powerwall, and is fully protected from local outages. Shiv has also planted trees and hedging across the grounds in partnership with Suffolk Wildlife Trust — proof that her commitment to sustainability extends well beyond the roofline.
Do lots of research. If in a rural setting, think carefully about how the whole system will work — and add extra conduit when trenching for future-proofing.

The two technicians, Luke & Cam arrived as scheduled, were courteous and respectful. They carried out the work as requested and invited me to inspect what they had done. Luke also clarified and guided me through a particular aspect on the Solis App.
